Background
The Michigan Concrete Training Center was purchased in February of 2000 and has never been remodeled. Back then, we served just a few hundred students annually. Today, we are operating at full capacity—training and certifying over 1,200 students each year across a wide range of programs. The MCA Board has approved renovating our existing facility to continue to serve our members.
This renovation will:
- Expand seating to accommodate up to 40 students per class
- Modernize the classroom technology experience to meet today’s industry standards
- Enable the expansion of course offerings to meet growing workforce demand
- Much needed updates to HVAC and Electrical
- Upgrade our kitchenette facility to better serve all-day trainings
