SUPPORT THE FUTURE OF OUR INDUSTRY

The success of any industry depends on having a pool of trained, professional employees readily available to enter the workforce. For over 30 years, the proceeds from the Memorial Scholarship golf outing have been dedicated to ensuring the future of our industry by providing financial support to students at colleges and universities that provide training and education in concrete

Established in 1991, more than $200,000 has been raised to purchase classroom textbooks, testing equipment, and fund academic scholarships. Since 2018, the funds have been used to reimburse students at Eastern Michigan University, Western Michigan University, Lawrence Technological University, Alpena Community College, and Macomb Community College. 50% of the registration cost for students passing the MCA/ACI Level I certification.

2024 OUTING INFORMATION

Due to the continued exceptional turnout, we have decided to continue the 2024 MCA Golf outing to a course with 27 holes, which will allow us to meet capacity, reduce waiting and complete the outing in a timely manner. This year's outing will be held at Hawk Hollow Golf Course in East Lansing.

Not only will you enjoy a great day of golf, but you will also be competing for various team and individual prizes including lowest score, longest putt, longest drive, closest to the pin, and if you are up to the challenge. We are adding some fun and challenging entertainment to our golf outing this year. TnT Golfapalooza will be bringing golf ball cannons that will shoot up to 340 yards to the green. Cannons will be available at two different holes on the course. For $5.00 a player or $20 for a team, you will have the opportunity to shoot a golf ball from a cannon that will pretty much guarantee you an Eagle putt on the hole. This will be used to raise money for the MCA Scholarship Fund. Remember to bring your cash for these events and enjoy the added fun and challenges that they may bring. There will also be sponsorship opportunities available for these.

Already have a team in mind for the scramble?

Don’t have a team? We will be happy to place you on a team looking for an additional player.

Registration fees include continental breakfast, lunch at the turn, dinner, complimentary beverages, practice range balls for all participants, 18-hole green fees, a golf cart, and prizes.

Not a golfer? Consider joining us for dinner and a good time!

Registration Information will be available in April.
