2025 mixer driver competition - MAY 17, 2025


Trucks, obstacles, skill, and a great day of competition – you won’t want to miss this exciting event!

Mixer Drivers from MCA Producer Member Companies will go head to head in a true best-of-the-best competition.

COMPETITION AGENDA

7:30am - 8:00am - Driver Registration

8:00am – Competition Part 1: Driver Written Exam (50 questions – 45 minutes)
8:30am – 9:00am – Volunteer Registration

9:00am – Competition Part 2: Driver Walk around Visual Vehicle Inspection

9:30am – Volunteer Walk Through

10:00am – Competition Part 3: Begin Driving Skills & Ability Challenge Course

11:30 - 1:00 - Lunch and Award Winner Presentations.

MCA Member Companies can register up to 3 drivers for the competition depending on the size of your fleet.

  • 1 - 30 Mixers - 1 Driver
  • 31 - 60 Mixers - 2 Drivers
  • 61+ Mixers - 3 Drivers

Entry Fee: $250 per driver. Registration Fee includes the NRMCA Mixer Truck Manual. 

NOTE: Truck Drivers DO NOT bring their company trucks. TEREX & OSHKOSH trucks will be provided at the event. 

Entry deadline is May 3, 2025

Drivers will compete and accumulate points in three categories to compile a final score:

  • Driving Skills & Abilities Challenge (up to 12) obstacles
  • Pre-Trip Truck Inspection
  • Multiple Choice Written Examination based upon the NRMCA Mixer Truck Manual

Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

  • 1st Place - $1000 to driver + up to $2500 to the company for the national NRMCA competition.
  • 2nd Place - $500 to driver + up to $1250 to the company for the national NRMCA competition. 
  • 3rd Place - $250 to driver + registration fee reimbursed to the company for the national NRMCA competition.

*NOTE: The MCA reserves the right to change or adjust the prize amounts based upon the number of entries and sponsorships.

For the NRMCA National Championship, all entrants must be current employees of NRMCA member companies. If a State Association Champion is not an NRMCA member, either his/her company may join mid-year allowing them to compete, or the State Association may forward application(s) for their 2nd and/or 3rd place winners to compete.  MCA reserves the right to adjust scoring criteria and add, delete, or change challenges from the Mixer Driver Championship.

PLEASE NOTE: MCA MEMBER COMPANIES MUST REGISTER THEIR DRIVERS.

A DRIVER CANNOT REGISTER INDEPENDENTLY FOR THIS EVENT.
