The Super Air Meter (SAM) measures total air and air system quality.
The SAM meter is being demonstrated on a large scale multi-state research project. In order to produce reliable data it is imperative that all SAM operators receive uniform training and certifications.
To become certified, you must pass a written test and demonstrate your ability to operate the SAM meter.
The program is being offered by the Michigan Concrete Association (MCA) in conjunction with MDOT.
