about the program
Lawrence Technological University's new CTM program partners with the Michigan Concrete Association offering students a unique opportunity to earn a Bachelor's of Science in Concrete Technology and Management, pared with a Minor in Business Administration.
The Bachelor of Science in Concrete Technology and Management (BSCTM) program will be the first CTM program in the nation. This program will fill a critical need for the education and training of concrete professionals which are in ever-increasing demand within the concrete and construction industry.
CTM GRADUATES WILL . . .
Be able to provide technical and managerial leadership solutions on job sites, apply and integrate business principles, and deliver expert troubleshooting skills to correct issues related to concrete projects.
The concrete and cement industry in the United States is more than a $900 billon industry. Companies in these areas are actively seeking qualified and talented employees to fulfill their workforce requirements. This means graduates in CTM are not limited in their career options. Students have a wide variety of degree fields and focuses that they can choose to work in; offering many job opportunities geared towards students interests.

Scholarships
The Michigan Concrete Association (MCA) and Lawrence Technological University (LTU) are committed to providing financial support for program needs and student scholarships. Further, the MCA will provide academic practicums and summer internship opportunities for enrolled BSCTM students.
Available Scholarships:
- LTU STEM Scholar Awards - $19,650 per student/yea
- Michigan Concrete Association (MCA) Scholarship - $5,000 per student/year
- Fessler & Bowman, Inc. Scholarship - $6,000 per student/year

curriculum
The BSCTM program consists of 120 credits earned over a four year period. The beauty of this career track is that it doesn't just focus on the sciences of construction, but the business side of this industry as well.
CTM Curriculum:
- Humanities (with an emphasis on leadership) - 26 credits
- Applied Natural Sciences - 11 credits
- Applied Mathematics - 12 credits
- Business - 18 credits
- Concrete and Construction - 56 credits
