To qualify for the course, you must have at least 4,500 hours of flatwork experience.

• Common field tests
• Placing, finishing and jointing slabs on grade
• Discussion & Demonstration
• Curing concrete
• Common problems & solutions

Typically, a training day is scheduled one week in advance of the examination day (which also includes a training review session).

Training Day 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Training Review 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Exam 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Registration Procedure

1. Register with the MCA. Confirmation and directions will be sent upon receipt.
2. Receive ACI Work Experience affidavit the day of class.
3. Complete affidavit at home.
4. Return the completed affidavit at the exam
