After almost a month of decision making, press releases, meetings, and contact from numerous graduates and supporters of the concrete technology program at Alpena Community College, the Board of Trustees and President of the college have decided to re-open the program for enrollment in the Fall of 2011.
The president of the college had previously decided to move the program to a biennial enrollment, with only one freshman class admitted to the program every two years.
This new announcement will hopefully garner the program enough attention to attract a large incoming freshman class to sustain the program and its momentum. MCA has supported and continues to fully support the Concrete Technology Program at Alpena Community College.
